Owen at 48 weeks

Owen turned 48 weeks old today. He will be 11 months old at some point between now and tomorrow since there is no Feb 29th this year. This week’s development is him getting spoiled rotten by his dad’s side of the family back in Dayton. Of course he got sick the day before we left which made the last few days of flurries and freezing temperatures even more fun.

Owen is 47 weeks old today. The big development this week is he started chewing on the railing in his crib. Yesterday, we woke up to discover the telltale bite marks from him using the crib as a teething comfort.

Owen at 45 weeks

Owen is now 45 weeks old. The New Orleans Saints play the Indianapolis Colts later today in Super Bowl XLIV. Owen had a super week leading up to this year’s biggest football game with several firsts.

Topping the list, we retired his trusty Graco infant car seat. He has graduated to a Britax Roundabout in one car, which we will also use while traveling, and a Britax Marathon in the other. Next, he stood up in his crib for the first time so we lowered the mattress yesterday. Lastly, he has started climbing the stairs.
