ouch ouch ouch ouch - that’s pretty expensive man.
One of the big reasons I don’t build home solutions for anything anymore. I just don’t have the energy or time for all of that debugging.
I still find rolling my own more fun and educational than buying off-the-shelf when it comes to special-purpose computers. OEM premiums are too stiff, imo. For example, I built a Windows Home Server to handle all our backup and media archival/sharing needs using spare PC parts.
There is nothing quite like the smell of thermal paste. :nerd:
